他認為，美中貿易戰是長期趨勢，但如果台廠產能布局OOC（out of China，去中國化）和OOT（ out of Taiwan，去台灣化）兩者都做，是不智之舉，因為兩岸和平，為何要out of Taiwan，即使貿易制裁，美國也不會針對台灣，「所以out of China有道理，out of Taiwan完全沒有道理。」
